My client, specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of shop fittings and based in Cosmo, Randburg, is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager.

This person must have sound procurement skills (min 10 years experience) and have exposure to or experience in a shop fitting or furniture manufacture environment. Main responsibilities include the sourcing of reliable suppliers and be able to negotiate prices and quality of products; Management of stock and the storeroom; Understand BOM and design drawings; work closely with production and financial team; constant review of prices from suppliers; track orders, costs and deliveries; monthly expenditure reports and adhering to budgets set out by production and finance teams. This position is available with immediate effect.

My client, leaders in the field and based in many areas in Gauteng and SA, is looking for experienced and skilled retail operations managers / branch managers with immediate effect.

Tasks and responsibilties

The responsibilities of this position will include the full management and operations of the retail stores including stock, finances, HR, customers, etc. This is a very demanding position and the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar position, they must be able to work long hours 7 days a week and basically take ownership of the store and its operations. The ideal candidate will have high energy levels and manage from the floor, they will become involved in all activities in the store and be dedicated and loyal and committed operators/traders

Citizenship Manager, Bryanston

R800k pa ctc incl full benefits

In this role, the Citizen Manager will be responsible for leading and shaping the development of the Citizenship strategy and for setting the timetable and process for the strategic implementation which will run from 2016/7 -2019/20.

The Citizenship Manager will be a member of Group Marketing and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and indirectly (and with greater priority) to the Chief Executive through whom all Executive and Board engagements flow.

MAIN DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive the formulation of the Group's Citizenship Strategy (to integrate current Environmental Officer and CSI responsibilities)
    • Augment and expand the current selection criteria for CSI engagement to reflect a wider Citizenship lens. Contribute to the selection, recruitment, induction and review processes across the organization
    • Drive the execution and monitoring of all Citizenship initiatives and their collation into reports for the use of the Board and the business in general.
    • Preparation of budget for your area of responsibility
    • Manage and control expenditure in your area
    • To compile, upon request, financial reports for the review of the CMO/CFO
    • To devise and/or agree reporting methods for the CFO
    • Understand the financial implications of all actions and prevent fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
    • Responsible for mitigation of risk to the business in your area
    • Protect the business, its brands and its people from risk at all times. More specifically, to pay close attention to risks which pertain to business continuity, business compliance and brand reputation.
    • Drive the internal socialization of all relevant policies
    • Champion all relevant policies and drive group-wide awareness, where required, adoption
    • Attendance at all key meetings
    • Work with Insights manager, in-brand marketing managers and HR to infuse citizenship throughout the Group (www, newsletters, etc.)
    • Where necessary and agreed, seek out external communication avenues to communicate the Group's citizenship programme.
  1. Organisation wide engagement:
    • Full and collegiate role with other members of Group Marketing, in-brand marketers and their related suppliers (where relevant)
    • As much as possible enlist group-wide participation
    • When required, report to the Board/Sub-Committee (upon the Chief Exec's invitation) on work in your area
    • Contribute to organization-wide initiatives, such as occasional support to special project and events.

Skills Abilities Knowledge:

This person would be reporting into the marketing officer, and needs to be able to work independently, requires a high degree of integrity and passion for the environment and csi initiatives. He/she will be spending a fair amount of time on the road as well, so needs the flexibility to do so.
